Car description
Trabant is a legendary East German vehicle type, manufactured from 1957 to 1991. It is one of the role models of the socialist era, the fruit of the hard work of our diligent people.
Comrades recorded the expectations: no more than 600 kilograms, enough space for a hard-working German family, no more than five and a half liters per hundred kilometers, ability to manufacture at least 12,000 pieces a year, and costs less than 4,000 Deutsche Mark.
At the Zwickao plant, two types of workers have assembled this high-quality technical achievement. One model was folded the other glued it.
Popular name was paper jaguar.
One of the distinctive pieces of our fleet is our baby blue trabant, which was built at home by the previous owner. Unfortunately, due to lack of time, he was unable to complete the rebuilding of the car, so we took it over in a semi-finished state. The energy and time we spent was not in vain, because our clients have the opportunity to try such an unusual Trabant.

Please read the booking information below carefully! We are not able to handover our cars if these conditions are not fully met!
- Maximum 4 felnőtt ülhet 1 autóban – néhány autó esetén a limit 2 fő a sofőrrel együtt.
- Maximum of 2 Children (under 16) can sit in the same car with their parents. In this case, the reservation of 1 car is allowed.
- The driver need to be person over the age of 18, with a license obtained for at least 2 years.
- Make sure you have a valid identity card (passport in the case of foreign citizens), resident card and driving license and keep in mind that there is ZERO tolerance in Hungary for driving under the influence of alcohol. Under no circumstances is alcohol consumption allowed while operating a motor vehicle!
- EUR 250 deposit in cash is required for the rental of the cars - we will return it after the car is returned intact and complete.
- All cars have manual transmission. Practical knowledge of how to use a clutch is essential.
- Our cars are all classic vehicles therefore, operating them their driving requires more care and increased awareness with an understanding that stopping distances need to be greater and steering requires more effort than non-classic cars.
- Please arrive 15-20 min earlier than schedule start time to have time for inspection of the car, completing the necessary administration and training.
- For daily rental, the selected vehicle can be picked up at our depot every morning between 09.00h and 10.00h or we can deliver the car to any location in Budapest at an extra service.
- Please return the vehicle by 09.00h with fuel gauge is in similar position as when handed over.
- 2 óras bérlés esetén 100 km a limit, egész napos bérlés esetén pedig 250 km.
