Car description
The story of Lada is one of the rare successes of socialism. Defying the chances of the Soviet system, they created the miracle. The origin of the brand comes from the word “Lagyja”, which is a type of ship and it is also echoed in the Lada logo. The car was sold to the internal Soviet market as Zsiguli, but for export it was under the brand of Lada.
The name “horror of the taiga” is a fitting name given the condition of Russian Roads with their lack of asphalt roads and you may notice some similarities with the Fiat 124 vehicle, previously launched on the European market by the Italians.
We own an almost original Lada 1300, which was previously owned by a young classic car lover and kept it as a hobby car. Other bidders offered 2 horses for this original car, but we managed to outbid and get this nice piece of history.

Please read the booking information below carefully! We are not able to handover our cars if these conditions are not fully met!
- Maximum 4 felnőtt ülhet 1 autóban – néhány autó esetén a limit 2 fő a sofőrrel együtt.
- Maximum of 2 Children (under 16) can sit in the same car with their parents. In this case, the reservation of 1 car is allowed.
- The driver need to be person over the age of 18, with a license obtained for at least 2 years.
- Make sure you have a valid identity card (passport in the case of foreign citizens), resident card and driving license and keep in mind that there is ZERO tolerance in Hungary for driving under the influence of alcohol. Under no circumstances is alcohol consumption allowed while operating a motor vehicle!
- EUR 250 deposit in cash is required for the rental of the cars - we will return it after the car is returned intact and complete.
- All cars have manual transmission. Practical knowledge of how to use a clutch is essential.
- Our cars are all classic vehicles therefore, operating them their driving requires more care and increased awareness with an understanding that stopping distances need to be greater and steering requires more effort than non-classic cars.
- Please arrive 15-20 min earlier than schedule start time to have time for inspection of the car, completing the necessary administration and training.
- For daily rental, the selected vehicle can be picked up at our depot every morning between 09.00h and 10.00h or we can deliver the car to any location in Budapest at an extra service.
- Please return the vehicle by 09.00h with fuel gauge is in similar position as when handed over.
- 2 óras bérlés esetén 100 km a limit, egész napos bérlés esetén pedig 250 km.
